Journal Prompt: Dear Future Me

At the end of each day, I sit down and reflect on my day.

What did I accomplish today? What could I have done better? What do I need to do tomorrow?

Do something today that your future self will thank you for.

It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of each day, and very rarely do I stop to ponder about my future. Yes, I have goals to accomplish and people I want to help. But what about me? Who will I become over time?

Those self-reflective questions led me into this future-based journal prompt.

Answer the following questions in your journal.

What a wonderful journal prompt! I especially appreciate how you’ve focused on previous accomplishments to appreciate the present rather than focusing solely on the future. This would pair well with the application at FutureMe.org, where you can send yourself an email at any point in the future.

Interesting! I’ve never heard of FutureMe.org, but I think I will check it out.
